The S-type R is everything a sporting Jaguar saloon should be. Lots of smooth, easy power; effortless ground-covering; a supple ride and a snugly sumptuous interior with just the right degree of raciness. After all those years of elegant but rather staid XJ saloons there's a proper compact sports saloon with a Jaguar badge. So said many journalists when the S-type R was launched back in 2003. Nothing has changed as time moves one, except that this modern equivalent of the 3.8 MKII is gaining ever more of a following as one of the cheapest options to own a 400bhp super saloon. This 2004 example is offered complete with a service booklet containing 18 stamps, right up to 94, 032 miles (currently 98,000). It also has the full book pack and various invoices relating to works carried. These works include a £192 wheel refurbish in March 2026, £512 service in Oct 2025, £290 for brake pads etc in Feb 2026 and £799 for a custom made stainless steel exhaust in January 2026. Originally registered to Jaguar Cars PVT Department (Project Verification Department) in January 2004, where it remained until November 2004, when it was serviced by Jaguar at 11,275 miles. Finished in silver with black leather interior and equipped with the a range of options available with the model, this well cared for S-type R offers outstanding levels of performance and legendary Jaguar ride quality with a V8 rumble in support. . due to people having busy life's ,, we offer a service where by , if a car is delivered and purchased unseen . then the customer is eligible to send the vehicle back with the delivery driver on his gurney back to us . on the same flat bed lorry , a refund for the car will be issued but unfortunately the transport will have to be charged for on both trips .
