IMPACT CUTLERY

Model # 8110 – Wychwood | By Impact Cutlery

Only one knife made.

The Wychwood combines a clean, purposeful blade profile with the warmth and individuality of richly figured rosewood. Its compact proportions, sculpted handle and polished fittings give the knife a refined traditional character.

The rosewood handle is particularly distinctive, displaying flowing brown, amber and darker grain with naturally occurring swirls and figuring. Carefully contoured finger areas create an elegant profile while the polished metal fittings provide a crisp contrast against the timber.

A satin-finished D2 Tool Steel blade completes the design, featuring pronounced bevel geometry and a strong, clean point. The buyer will receive the exact same knife shown in the photographs.

Handle:

The handle is crafted from beautifully figured rosewood, selected for its warm colouring and prominent natural grain. Its sculpted profile provides comfortable hand placement, while the polished fittings frame the wood neatly at both ends.

Blade:
The blade is made from D2 Tool Steel with a smooth satin finish. Broad bevels and a defined central ridge create an attractive transition toward the point while maintaining the knife's clean, understated appearance.

Lifetime Warranty – Terms & Conditions

Please note: Lifetime warranty does not cover normal wear and tear.

Normal wear includes blemishes, tarnish, rust, scratches, blade chips, broken tips, edge dings, and dents. Impact knives are not designed to be used as hammers, chisels, pry bars, or screwdrivers. Damage caused by misuse or accidental impact is excluded, but may be repairable for a reasonable fee.

Natural materials—such as bone, horn, or wood—may crack, shrink, or develop other changes over time due to temperature, climate, and age; these are not covered under the lifetime warranty. No knife maker can guarantee against the natural aging of organic materials.

Rust is not covered under the Impact lifetime warranty. Proper care and maintenance are essential.

Care of Your Fine Custom Knife
  1. Never store the knife in a leather sheath.
  2. Never leave the knife wet.
  3. Apply oil/wax after use and before storing.
  4. If rust appears, use 0000 steel wool with oil to clean it off; metal polish can also be used.
  5. Never put the knife in a dishwasher.
  6. Keep the guard, bolsters, and butt caps oiled/waxed.
  7. Keep it sharp — a sharp knife is safer than a dull knife.
  8. Store in a dry place.
  9. Don’t try to repair a damaged knife yourself. Send it to us and we’ll do our best to make it as good as new.

If you plan heavy-duty use, let us know when ordering a custom knife so we can shape the blade and bevel accordingly. Knives in auctions are not subject to alterations; suggestions can be made for fixed-price listings.

We do not sell knives to persons under the age of 18. By placing a bid or order with our store, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally permitted to purchase such items. We rely on your confirmation and accept no liability if this representation is found to be false.
