Dr. Hebra’s Viola Cream was a popular Victorian-era cosmetic product advertised for beautifying the complexion and removing various skin blemishes. Prepared by G. C. Bittner & Co. of Toledo, Ohio, this, along with its associated "Viola Skin Soap," was marketed in the late 19th century (circa 1880s-1900s) as a remedy for acne, freckles, and other skin imperfections.

  • Advertising: It was heavily advertised using colorful Victorian-era trade cards, which often featured illustrations of women surrounded by flowers (such as irises or roses).
