The Kendall Manufacturing Company was a 19th-century soap manufacturer based at 90 Friendship Street in Providence, RI, established in 1827. Renowned for its "Soapine" brand, the company is notable for employing feminist writer Charlotte Perkins Gilman to design trade cards and write advertisements early in her career.
