From the web:  The Stanley Ovenette, manufactured by the West Bend Aluminum Company, was primarily made and popularized during the 1940s and 1950s. While some models date to the late 1940s (with advertisements from 1949), they were a staple mid-century cooking accessory widely used throughout the 1950s.
