Ernest G. Duval was active as the president of the Canadian Chiropractic College in Hamilton, Ontario, around 1917, 1918. Literature regarding germ theory from Canadian chiropractic schools, such as that authored by E. DuVal, dates to this period (circa 1910s–1920s)
