From the web: Hawaii, a Primer was a promotional booklet published in the early 20th century by the Hawaii Promotion Committee in Honolulu to encourage tourism and investment. The work was printed by the Mercantile Printing Company, Limited, and is recognized for its detailed information on Hawaii's geography, government, and industry, with editions highlighting the territory as a growing investment opportunity, particularly in the 1900s–1910s.

I noted some of the photos are credited to the famous:
Robert Kates Bonine (1861–1923) was a pioneering American photographer and cinematographer best known for his work in the Hawaiian Islands at the turn of the 20th century. He worked as an itinerant cameraman for the Edison Manufacturing Company before permanently relocating to Hawaii in 1908.
Hawaiian Imagery: He captured iconic, high-quality photographs of Hawaiian landscapes, local culture, and everyday life. His work, alongside other prominent photographers like Ray Jerome Baker, was sometimes published in viewbooks such as Hawaiian Types.
