Founded in 1890 in Quincy, Illinois, the Electric Wheel Co. (EWC) was a premier manufacturer of metal wheels, wagons, and, by the 1910s, early tractors. During the 1910s, the company grew rapidly, introducing the "Model O" Quincy tractor in 1911 and transitioning toward their famous "Allwork" branded tractors by 1915, catering to farm and industrial needs.
