Wyoming Shovel Works, based in West Wyoming, Pennsylvania, was a prominent late-19th to early-20th-century manufacturer famous for its "Red Edge" mining and industrial tools. Known for using high-quality chrome nickel alloy steel, the company merged into the Ames, Baldwin, and Wyoming Co. in 1931 before eventually becoming part of the O. Ames Co. in 1952.
