The "Ventana" Series: This object belongs to her famous Ventana (Spanish for "window") series. The design relies on heavy clear crystal that is deeply cut and polished to form smooth "windows" or lenses. These facets reveal beautiful, layered subterranean bubbles of colour suspended inside—in this case, a mesmerizing blue and green combination.
Mona Morales-Schildt (1908–1999) was a Swedish glass designer celebrated for her innovative work at Kosta Glasbruk during the mid-20th century. Her distinctive "Ventana" series, with its bold use of color and sculptural forms, became emblematic of her artistic vision.
