I bought this new some 30 years ago when it was state of the art locator. The unit has fresh batteries and the battery test works, but I can’t get it to make any noise when passing the two over each other, I recall it making noise when it was set to warble, unit may be good for parts but as for weather it’s working or not is questionable.
