The full leather gilt tooled and decorated binding is very tight. All bound by George Macdonald of 3 Assembly Lane (East), Edinburgh as identifed verso of fep. Shows signs of light shelf wear and rubbing to hinges and corners. All edges gilt. Previous owner inscription to ffep which also has some very light foxing as do the rear end papers, otherwise internally very good+ to excellent.
