Model # 8082 – Regent | By Impact Cutlery

Only one knife made.

Regent brings the character of a traditional gentleman’s pocket knife into a handcrafted piece of art featuring hand-forged Damascus steel, elegant cream acrylic scales and intricately detailed Damascus bolsters. Its long, slender proportions and decorative metalwork give the folder a refined heritage appearance.

The patterned Damascus blade is paired with a traditional non-locking slip-joint mechanism, while fine brass-toned liners provide a warm accent between the cream handle scales and darker patterned steel.

You will receive the exact same knife shown in the photographs. This is the actual Model #8082 Regent being offered, not a representative example.

Handle:

The handle features smooth cream acrylic scales, secured with three small pins and framed at either end by hand-forged Damascus steel bolsters.

Fine brass-toned liners create a contrasting border along the frame. The rear Damascus bolster is particularly distinctive, featuring deeply cut radiating fan-style detailing that adds texture and dimension to the design.

Blade:

The 3.90-inch blade is crafted from hand-forged Damascus steel, displaying flowing layered patterns across its surface.

Its slender, gently curved profile complements the traditional proportions of the handle. A classic nail nick provides two-handed opening, preserving the understated character of a traditional pocket knife.

Slip-Joint Mechanism:

Regent uses a traditional non-locking slip-joint mechanism. Spring tension provides resistance as the blade is opened and helps retain it in the open and closed positions without incorporating a locking mechanism.

Sheath:

A handmade brown leather pocket sheath accompanies Regent. It features contrasting stitching, shaped reinforcement and a snap-button closure.

Lifetime Warranty – Terms & Conditions

Please note: Lifetime warranty does not cover normal wear and tear.

Normal wear includes blemishes, tarnish, rust, scratches, blade chips, broken tips, edge dings, and dents. Impact knives are not designed to be used as hammers, chisels, pry bars, or screwdrivers. Damage caused by misuse or accidental impact is excluded, but may be repairable for a reasonable fee.

Natural materials—such as bone, horn, or wood—may crack, shrink, or develop other changes over time due to temperature, climate, and age; these are not covered under the lifetime warranty. No knife maker can guarantee against the natural aging of organic materials.

Rust is not covered under the Impact lifetime warranty. Proper care and maintenance are essential.

Care of Your Fine Custom Knife
  1. Never store the knife in a leather sheath.
  2. Never leave the knife wet.
  3. Apply oil/wax after use and before storing.
  4. If rust appears, use 0000 steel wool with oil to clean it off; metal polish can also be used.
  5. Never put the knife in a dishwasher.
  6. Keep the guard, bolsters, and butt caps oiled/waxed.
  7. Keep it sharp — a sharp knife is safer than a dull knife.

If you plan heavy-duty use, let us know when ordering a custom knife so we can shape the blade and bevel accordingly. Knives in auctions are not subject to alterations; suggestions can be made for fixed-price listings.
