Beautiful antique/vintage attributed Franz Welz Bohemian art glass vase dating to the 1930s era.

Features a rich tortoise shell / end-of-day style pattern in a red/orange tone. The vase has an elegant elongated form with:

* Flared trumpet rim

* Applied clear double handles

* Applied clear rigaree-style decorative prunts/spines

* Hand-enameled floral and scroll decoration

Measures approximately 7.5” tall.

Strong Czech/Bohemian Art Deco influence with a very dramatic flame-like appearance and excellent display presence.

Condition:

No cracks noted. There is a noticeable chip to the top rim shown clearly in photos. Expected light wear, tiny bubbles, and minor manufacturing irregularities consistent with vintage hand-blown art glass. Some light enamel wear may also be present.
