A Royal Worcester coffee cup and saucer with hand-painted fruit decoration, signed 'H. Ayrton', early 20th century, both pieces with the puce Worcester mark.
A shallow star crack to the underside of the cup which does not extend through to the interior, a tiny flea-bite to the underside of the saucer which is not seen from above, wear to the gilding from use on the base of the saucer. It displays as excellent.

Size: the cup 5.2 cm high, the saucer 11 cm diam

Please view all the pictures as they complete the description. While I do my best to reproduce the true colours of the pieces, they will vary slightly from system to system, and in actual viewing they will vary under differing lighting. All white spots are purely light reflections from the camera flash.
