Vintage Geraldo 48-2 Italian 48 Bass Piano Accordion Pearloid Restoration

A very attractive vintage Geraldo piano accordion, marked Italy, with a cream/ivory pearloid-effect body and striking black geometric decoration.

The front carries the Geraldo name with decorative detailing, while the keyboard has the traditional piano-style keys and the bass section features multiple buttons.

The accordion has been tried and still produces a good, strong sound, so it is certainly not completely non-working. However, some of the bass buttons require attention and a few appear to be missing, as clearly shown in the photographs. For this reason, it is being offered as a restoration/project instrument rather than as a fully serviced, ready-to-play accordion.

Cosmetically it has plenty of vintage character. There is age-related wear, marks, discolouration and deterioration to some areas, particularly the rear/back covering, as would be expected from an instrument of this age. Please study the photographs carefully as they form an important part of the condition description.
