Unusual antique German porcelain footed shaving mug, marked on the underside with a crowned shield/monogram and G.F. Germany.

Highly decorative example featuring a pink/lilac ground with large dimensional cobalt blue, white and gold applied shell-like ornaments. Finished with extensive raised gilt decoration, scalloped rim, ornate openwork handle and four small feet.

Shows age-related wear to the gold and decoration, particularly along the rim, along with normal surface wear. Please see photos closely for condition.
