BRITISH WW2 MK VIII RAF PILOT FLYING GOGGLES STADIUM MADE IN ENGLAND PATENT

For sale, RAF MK VIII flying goggles, likely manufactured by Stadium (c. 1943–1950).
Design & Markings: Unlike standard military-issue items, these feature "Made in England" and "Patent" stampings. While the official RAF MK VIII was introduced in April 1943, private and commercial British manufacturers like Stadium and Halcyon produced civilian and alternative versions from 1943 through the 1950s and beyond.

Model Details: Because these lack the specific Stadium-designed barrel screw adjuster across the bridge (which Stadium designated as the Mk 9), they are attributed to the circa 1943–1950 production window.

Build: Equipped with an adjustable nose-bridge slider, hand-stitched soft leather padded surround, angled split shatterproof/scratch-resistant lenses, and a fully adjustable one-size-fits-all headband.

Heavily Used Condition: some part of the leather backing is missing with the foam exposed particularly noticeable on the upper portion of the right lens, please check the large photos below for exact condition.
