Here is a nice and hard to find Pedley druggist. The bottle is from Canon City, Colorado and is from around 1887 making it one of the older Canon City bottles that you can find. The bottle is clear in color and stands just over 3 1/8" tall, is about 1 1/2" wide and just over 1" deep. On the front in the slug plate it is boldly embossed in an arch GEO. PEDLEY over DRUGGIST over an inverted arch CANON CITY, COLO. Surrounding the writing is scroll lines on either side. The bottom is marked W. T. & CO. The bottle is free of any chips, cracks, dings or flashes. It is in dug condition with a scratch on the neck and some interior whitish stain/content that I have not tried to clean. Most of the exterior glass looks good. Nice looking bottle overall that displays well. This bottle is listed in the Colorado bottle book is a rarity of 4 making it a harder one to find and rarer..
This would be a nice addition to a Canon City drug store collection, a Colorado pharmacy collection, or a general western medicine bottle or druggist collection. Another tough one that you rarely see.
Thanks for looking and let me know if you have any questions.
