This example carries the Gillette date code A2, dating it to the second quarter of 1955 (April–June 1955). Manufactured in the USA, the Red Tip Super Speed was the heavy-duty model in Gillette's famous Super Speed range and remains one of the most desirable vintage safety razors among collectors and traditional wet shaving enthusiasts.
Included with the razor is an original Gillette blade dispenser with the desirable Z3 date code (3rd Quarter 1954).
