IMPACT CUTLERY

Model # 8019 – Dragonmere | By Impact Cutlery

Only one knife made.

A commanding custom Bowie designed for collectors who appreciate traditional knife patterns enhanced with premium materials and detailed artwork. Featuring a satin-finished D2 tool steel blade, engraved Rosewood handle, Damascus fittings, and a matching engraved leather sheath, Dragonmere combines historic Bowie styling with distinctive craftsmanship.

Design Inspiration

The Dragonmere is inspired by the classic Sheffield Bowie knives that became renowned during the mid-19th century. As Bowie knives evolved from the original American frontier designs, Sheffield makers refined the pattern with long clip-point blades, deep fullers, pronounced crossguards, and elegant proportions that balanced cutting performance with visual appeal. This knife follows that historic Sheffield tradition while incorporating engraved dragon artwork that reflects centuries of symbolism associated with strength, wisdom, and protection.

Handle

The handle is crafted from richly figured Rosewood, shaped with deep finger grooves for a secure and comfortable grip. Hand Forged Damascus guard and pommel provide strength while complementing the natural grain of the wood. The detailed engraved dragon artwork transforms the handle into a striking centrepiece, making every angle worthy of display.

Blade

The blade is manufactured from D2 Tool Steel with a satin finish that highlights its clean lines and precision grind. Its classic Sheffield Bowie profile features a long clip point, generous fuller, and sweeping cutting edge, providing excellent balance, edge retention, and durability for collectors and outdoor enthusiasts alike.

Sheath

Supplied with a handcrafted genuine leather sheath featuring matching engraved dragon artwork and a secure retaining strap for safe carry, storage, and display.
