1876 1st US edition in publisher's original cloth, with gilt lettering to spine, complete with map and all plates. Duodecimo (12mo). pp. xii, 354, 16 plates and original map at frontispiece.

The boards are in very good condition, with a only touch of edge wear, and they show off nicely. Ex library copy with small number written on spine. The binding is mostly firm with no loose pages though there are some earlier leaves that show a slight bit of movement. The endpaper hinges are firm. Ex libris bookplate to front endpaper and library card to rear. The pages are in very good condition, and they show little in the way of marks or wear aside from a small closed tear to the half title page and a subtle library mark to the title page. Plates and map have been collated and are complete with the illustrations in fine condition. A very good complete copy, scarce, in the publisher's original cloth. Please see photos for condition.
