Takamine EF407 1996 New Yorker Parlour/concert size electro acoustic guitar.
I bought this new in 1996 for £850, and it’s been my only gigging acoustic since then. I’ve not used it for a while, and I thought it should go to someone who’d use it.
It’s always been a great playing and sounding guitar, with a lovely, comfortable shaped neck. It’s in surprisingly good condition for its age.
Ovangkol/Koa wood.
The Graph-Ex pre amp really makes the guitar sound fab plugged in, and it has a great acoustic sound.
Used with Hazel O’Conner, Selecter and numerous studio sessions.
The case has done its job in protecting the case, so it’s a little worse for wear, with a few cracks, a bottom stud inverted, and a broken clasp.
