The Ropeman 1 is Wild Country’s original ascender developed over 10 years ago. It retains the same versatile design that’s been handy for hauling, pulley setups, prusiks, self-rescue, and more. Most big walls and even some multi-pitches require this ascender’s versatile performance. It’s even simple to haul lighter climbing gear up a single chimney pitch so neither climber needs to wear the pack.
