Antique, over a century and a quarter old, dated 1900, two volume bookset, bound in three quarters morocco leather binding with marbled paper covered hardcover boards in overall very good to near fine condition. Exteriors of the books are clean and very well intact with some minor age, use or shelf wear like a bit of toning and minor rubs to the outer corner edges of the boards as well as some crackling and a small bit of dry flaking to the top layer of the leather of the hinges in some spots with all cover hinges firmly and well attached to the books with no splitting. Upper page fore-edges are gold gilded and the side fore-edges are deckled. Interiors of the books are overall very clean and well intact with some occasional toning from age. Many of the outer page fore-edges are still uncut as issued by the publisher, indicating the books are unused and unread. Books’ bindings are tight and well intact and the books are complete with all pages present and none coming loose, detached or missing. Books have no odors.

Both volumes total 952 pages with an extensive index. The two volumes together measure approximately 9 3/8 x 6 3/4 x 3 1/8 inches and the books together weigh about 4 3/4 pounds.
