Genuine VW Transporter T5 Sportline 2.5 TDI Camper / Day Van Conversion – Project / Spares or Repairs

Reluctant sale of my genuine 2006 VW Transporter T5 Sportline 2.5 TDI camper/day van conversion.

This is a genuine Sportline Transporter and is registered as such on the V5. It is not a standard T5 made to look like a Sportline.

The van has just over 140,000 miles and has been converted into a practical camper/day van. It has been used and enjoyed, but it is now being sold as a project due to an engine issue. I have obtained a quote for a reconditioned engine on a supply-and-fit basis, but after considering the cost I have decided not to proceed.

Even if repaired, I would now need to sell the van anyway as it no longer works for my family, so I have decided to offer it for sale as it stands.

Please note: this is being sold honestly as a project / spares or repairs vehicle. The MOT has expired while I have been considering the options for the van, so any buyer should assume it will need to be transported or recovered.

I have tried to price it realistically given the known mechanical issue, expired MOT and the fact it will need work before being put back on the road.
