Synopsis:
The protagonist of the story of "The Rookie" is John Nolan, who comes from a small town. After he was over forty and divorced, he decided to change his life due to an accident and came to Los Angeles alone to pursue his dream of being a police officer. As the oldest "rookie" officer in the history of the Los Angeles Police Department, he not only has to keep up with his younger colleagues in their early twenties in terms of physical fitness and skills, but also faces questions from his superiors about his age and motives.
