Vintage Zenith manual-wind wristwatch dating to the late 1940s.
Housed in a 35mm stainless steel case, this watch features an original cream dial with a highly attractive mix of applied rose-gold Arabic numerals and faceted baton hour markers. The dial is signed Zenith beneath the star logo and retains its original minute track and period-correct gilt dauphine hands.
Powering the watch is a genuine in-house Zenith manual-wind movement (calibre 12-4 or close variant), a robust and well-regarded post-war calibre. Service history is unknown, so a routine service is recommended for optimal performance.
The dial shows light, even ageing consistent with age and has not been refinished. The case displays honest wear from decades of use, with no signs of over-polishing. Fitted to a modern leather strap.
A well-proportioned and increasingly sought-after mid-century Zenith with strong vintage presence and a desirable dial configuration.
