The merry-go-round at Lakeside Amusement Park is one of Colorado's most historically significant amusement rides. In fact, it is the oldest ride still operating at the park, dating back to Lakeside's opening in 1908, and is one of only a handful of surviving early 20th-century carousels in continuous use.
