Here is an 18th century gaming box. The outer box is in poor condition with wood exposed and lacquer missing. No dragon paw feet. There are seven lidded boxes. One of the trays is broken. 12 painted gilt trays. 119 game tokens in the shapes shown : fish, rounds, squares with notches and rectangles. All the mother of pearl game pieces, carved with great detail. 87 are intact and most have crisp corners. Overall good condition, considering g their age. 32 of the game pieces are broken. See pic and zoom in the section on the right to see broken ones. There is a monogram JMC on exterior box. Again, the exterior box is in poor shape.
