I am offering for sale this FINE VINTAGE Stanley Bailey No 8 Type 15, 1931-32 Jointer Bench Plane Inv#ED05

 The fine Stanley Bailey No 8 Type 15, 1931-32 jointer bench plane measures approximately 23-7/8" L x 3-1/8" W.  It has a notched Stanley Made in USA & Pat'd 1,918,750.  it measures: 7-1/2" x 2-35. The cutter has cleaned up nicely. It has a horizontal "Stanley" on the lateral adjustment lever. NOTE: There is a small hairline fracture at corner of mouth on sole and it also has the number 77 etched into the left cheek. (see last photo). The japanning is spotty from age. Tote and knob are in good used condition, no cracks or repairs. The plane weighs 8lbs 11oz unboxed.  Ideal for collectors and woodworking enthusiasts alike, this plane is a piece of history that has stood the test of time.
