20.2 gram slice of EL EGLAB 001, a rare stony-iron mesosiderite meteorite that was recoverd in Tindouf, Algeria in 2023. This meteorite slice is a great example of a brecciated metal-rich (nickel-iron) and silicated (olivine and pyroxene) stony-iron, all within a fragmented matrix. This rare meteorite slice has both surfaces lightly polished and measures approximately 55mm x 45mm x 3mm and may be found mentioned in the "Meteoritical Bulletin" #112 (2024).  A display case is included with your purchase.
