Cutty Sark & Thermopylae 1:96 (Revell) – Set of 708 Walnut Blocks
A set of 708 CNC-machined walnut blocks prepared for the Revell Cutty Sark and Thermopylae model kits in 1:96 scale. The selection contains blocks for both the standing and running rigging.
This set contains: 708 CNC-machined walnut blocks and four rope threaders. Detailed rigging plans with marked block positions are available separately as a free digital download and are not included in the package.
CNC-Machined Walnut Blocks
The blocks are manufactured from walnut wood using CNC machining. This production method provides consistent dimensions, precisely formed grooves and a significantly more realistic appearance than the simplified plastic blocks normally supplied with model kits.
The required block sizes and quantities were determined from the original rigging plans of the Cutty Sark. The corresponding downloadable plans show the intended positions of the individual block types throughout the standing and running rigging.
The set covers the standard rigging configuration. Blocks required specifically for studding sails are not included.

Depending on the block size, the package may contain a small surplus of up to six pieces beyond the listed quantities.
Rigging Plans
Detailed rigging plans prepared for the Cutty Sark are available separately as a free digital download. These plans are not physically included in the package.
The documentation consists of one plan for the standing rigging and five plans for the running rigging. The positions and applications of the individual block types are marked on the plans, making it easier to select and install the correct blocks throughout the rigging.
Four rope threaders are included in the package to make it easier to pass rigging line through the small blocks.
