Manufactured by Sanita Paper Products, Brooklyn, New York  ~  Made in USA

 8 5/8" x 3 3/4"

Perfect for vintage advertising collectors, retro kitchen displays, or theatrical props!

Product Variety: Alongside their flagship "Eagle" brand, Sanita was famous for producing highly graphic, novelty item lines. These included themed children's products like "Circus Pals" and "Cowboy Pals" drinking straws, which featured punch-out cardboard standees on the back of the boxes

The inclusion of the phrase "for home and school use" reflects the post-WWII baby boom era, when manufacturers explicitly targeted the booming school-age market and the rising popularity of home milk consumption. Because your box still features the Brooklyn, New York address, it was printed before Sanita fully transitioned its primary manufacturing operations to its larger facility in Hicksville, Long Island.

This is a partially full box . . . originally there were 100 straws – there are 23 remaining.

Condition:    Very good condition . . . bright colors  ~  box is crisp, has some corner rubbing – there is a number written on the top lid (I have not tried to remove this)
