DECCA Ribbon tweeters Type DK 30R. Pair.

This is a pair of the famous and rare Decca ribbon tweeters.

Both working well and in good condition. A little dab of gold paint would touch up the small scratches. 

They have been in my damp free loft for some time and I believe came from a pair of MS 700 cabinets originally. I also believe that they are from early 1970. 

There is information, although quite scarce, on the internet about them being the best tweeters ever made. They are very heavy at 7Kg the pair. They measure 7 Ohms on my multi meter and I must admit they do sound good. However I am now 70 years old so I very much doubt that my ears are equipped to hear their at there best.

These tweeters will be packed extremely carefully and sent Royal Mail. If you would prefer to pick them up then that is not a problem.
