Very good vintage condition for its age. Some signs of wear; some shells appear missing and/or the cord has stretched. Shells have natural striations, inclusions, small chips, pitting, and variations in size, color, and shape.  There is some dust/debris that may be part of the original shell coating; we did not attempt to clean or scrape off those coatings to avoid damaging the shells.

These tiny spiral shells are carefully strung in a rope like pattern, suggesting these are Aboriginal/Australian.
