Indian Motorcycle ~ 80 Cubic Inch ~ Overhaul Supplement Manual
This is a quality reprint of Indian's 80 inch supplement to the "74" Overhaul Manual. the primary focus is with those area unique to the "80". these include the clutch, carburetor, and forks. This is a rather late manual in the original Indian Company's run. There is much more text than there are pictures. Even if you are not going to overhaul your own engine, this is a good one to have if you are going to do minor maintenance.

INDIAN COMPANY SPRINGFIELD, MASS.
SERVICE BULLETIN 5-4
JANUARY 2, 1953
TO ALL INDIAN DEALERS:
SUBJECT: Indian 80 Chief Repair and Overhaul Supplement
The Model “80" Chief Repair and Overhaul Supplement attached hereto covers all non-interchangeable items used on the Models 351-352-353 Chiefs.
This material should be used as a supplement to the Repair and Overhaul Manual “74”, Part No. 675007. It is our suggestion that all Indian dealers place the attached supplement with the "74” Manual, so that it will be available for convenient reference.
The pictures are very usable and not washed out or too dark like many of the manuals I have seen that have from copy machines. It is laser printed with at least 24 pound paper. Copy paper is generally 20 pound and you can feel the difference. It is bound with GBC plastic combs so that it will lay flat. If you would like I can, rather than bind with the plastic comb, three hole punch it for your binder. The format is 8.5 x 11. 36 Pages
If you are collecting manuals or looking for a prop to display at your next show, this is not the manual you want. If you want some usable information on the Indian that will lay flat on your bench when you are working on your pride and joy or some period information on how it was done back Sixty Five years ago while you curl up in front of the fire this winter, this is the one you need.
Shipping ~ I’ll pay that inside the US. To other places around the world, $30.00 Flat Rate.
