This is a genuine New Old Stock (NOS) headlight set.

The headlights have never been installed and remained stored inside their original HELLA boxes for more than 30 years. They were only removed from their packaging to be photographed for this listing.

The metal housings, mounting brackets and adjustment hardware are in outstanding original condition, showing virtually no storage wear. Aside from the occasional tiny handling mark from decades of storage, they present exceptionally well.

The original HELLA chrome retaining rings are likewise in beautiful original condition with only very minor shelf wear.

As with many authentic vintage NOS headlights that have remained untouched in storage for decades, the glass lenses may show light internal haze or fogging. This is caused by long-term storage and age, not by use, and is very common with genuine untouched HELLA NOS headlights.

Many experienced BMW and HELLA collectors actually regard this slight internal haze as a reassuring sign that the headlights have never been restored, polished or altered, preserving their original factory condition.
