Up for sale is my T5.1 factory kombi in blue metallic with 12 months mot just put on it a couple of weeks ago, 2k+ just spent includes a new full exhaust system, also a pair of new rear shocks just fitted, The rear bearings were also done at the end of last year, the cam belt was done 18 months ago inc alternator clutch, tensioners and all belts also with a full service and the van has done about 2000 miles since. The van has also just had a new steering rack fitted and the tracking done just last week, including new track rod ends and ball joints etc, so all the underside running gear should be good for a good few years, I have recently had new tyres all around fitted these were general grabber off road tyres, I went for these as they are still comfortable and they are smooth on the road unlike most other off road tyres that bounce a bit.

The van drives really nice with no issues and it also has the 6 speed gearbox that works as it should, I had the roof bars recently fitted with a full set of Dakine pads, I got the bigger all terrain tyres and had a suspension lift done to stop the van getting stuck on wet campsites etc. it now has a nice raised swampier look to the van with the lift and the nobbly tyres and arch protectors.

The van is in good overall condition.The drivers seat has a torn bolster and some of the foam has come out, I used the blue gti seat covers that i got from vanstyle they looked ok and you couldn’t see the damaged seat.The back of the van internally is as standard with just the sound deadening done so far, so a good base to start from to turn it into a day van/camper van or leave it as a 5 seat kombi van with the two front seats and the three belted rear seats, this set up is good for safety and gaining access to the rear without having to get out of the van and walk around, especially so at night whilst out wild camping etc. I have also just had new led bulbs fitted all round so, MOT compatible ones so it now has good night visibility unlike the pants dull light the standard bulbs give out…

 This is a VW T5.1 T28 Factory Kombi van in really nice metallic Blue paint, factory colour coded bumpers etc, it has T6 California 18" wheels with a full set of general grabber off road tyres recently fitted. The mileage on the is high @ 280000 miles but don’t let this put you off as the van has been well maintained and drives very good especially for its mileage. I had a cambelt service and this was done around 18 months ago.

The only bad bits are that someone has tried to get into the van and they have damaged the internal side of the drivers door slightly with a couple of bar marks above the window, :see the pictures: it cannot really be seen as its on the seal, since then the drivers door drops slightly very slightly but is noticeable this has never bothered me so i never got it done also the sliding door sensor may be faulty as on the screen it shows open on the dash, but again has never bothered me so i left it. This does not affect the central locking or the alarm etc. the window on the drivers door you sometimes after press the button twice on the drivers door to make it come up if it’s all the way down, it just wants adjusting I would imagine.

All in all this is a very good van that should be good for a good few years of hassle free running as everything has pretty much been done on it, it drives like a car and is smooth, acceleration is as it should be, gears and clutch are good etc.

***I do have the internal ply panels and fixings. I removed them to fit sound proofing and I was going to use better quality 1/8th ply to line out the back and carpet it, I just never got around doing  to it***
