1. Safety Precautions (MANDATORY)
Wear safety goggles, heavy-duty work gloves and protective clothing at all times during operation.
Use only on coil springs for MacPherson struts. DO NOT use for motorcycle springs, heavy truck springs or modified oversize springs beyond rated load.
Inspect all components before every use. Check for cracks, deformation, worn threads or damaged fork jaws. If any damage found, STOP using immediately.
Always secure the strut assembly firmly in a bench vice. Never work on loose/unfixed struts.
Keep hands, fingers and body out of the path of the compressed spring. Spring can release violently if slips.
Do not exceed the maximum rated load of this tool.
Never stand in line with the spring during compression or release. Stay to the side.
Keep bystanders away from the working area.
Do not modify, weld or alter any part of this tool.
Lubricate screw threads before use to reduce friction and prevent jamming.

2. Operating Steps
Step 1: Select Matching Fork Adapters
Check the diameter and coil spacing of your strut spring. Choose the pair of yellow forks that fully engage the spring coils. Both forks must seat securely into spring coils on opposite sides.

Step 2: Mount Forks & Install Compression Rod
Attach the selected forks onto the main compression rod assembly.
Fit the two forks onto opposite coils of the strut spring. Make sure fork jaws fully wrap around the spring coils.
Clamp the strut assembly rigidly in a bench vice. Ensure the strut cannot rotate or shift.

Step 3: Compress the Spring
Slowly turn the main screw to draw the two forks closer together.
Compress evenly on both sides. Alternate turning if dual rods are used.
Stop compressing once enough clearance appears between spring and strut top mount.
✅ Do not over-compress the spring beyond what is needed to remove the strut nut.

Step 4: Remove Strut Nut Disassemble
Once spring is safely compressed and held by the tool, remove the strut center nut. Separate strut mount, bearing and spring.

Step 5: Reassemble & Release Spring Tension
Fit new / original parts back onto the strut. Hand-tighten the center nut.
Slowly reverse the compression screw to release spring tension evenly.
Keep body clear while releasing pressure.
Continue loosening until all spring tension is fully relieved and forks are free from spring coils. Remove tool from the strut.

Step 6: Inspection after finishing Check spring, strut and tool for damage. Clean threads, wipe off grease and put all components back into the storage case.
