P-51 Mustang from The Wooden Model Company in lacquered reclaimed Mahogany

These models all belonged to my friend Karen’s late partner, I am helping her clear her house.


This came sealed in a box with just P-51 written on it, so I've opened it and have loosely assembled it, just to check all is OK, and so you can see it. It's very sleek and gorgeous! Still available form the manufacturer, and the text below is from them:-



Highly detailed and carefully hand crafted desktop model of the North American Aviation P-51 Mustang aircraft.

The wood used is reclaimed.

Made from solid mahogany and complete with solid mahogany matching stand.

Finished in high gloss lacquer to enhance the natural beauty of the mahogany.

Simple to assemble with no glue required, simply slot wooden parts such as wings into pre drilled holes.

With room for a commemorative plaque (not supplied) onto the stand.

Due to the nature of wood the colour of the model you receive may vary slightly from the website image.

Keep out of direct sunlight and heat.

If dusting use a new fine paint brush.
