The by-laws were amended and approved in Open Chapter on 9 May 1946, with this edition printed in Portsmouth in 1947 by Shepherd, Walker & Sons, Sprung Street.

The Portsmouth Temperance Chapter No. 2068 has a history dating back to the late 19th century, making this a particularly interesting local Masonic collectible.
