c1940 Navajo Sterling Silver Whirling Log Stamped Openwork Cuff Bracelet 6.75"

Wonderful vintage Native American sterling silver cuff bracelet featuring an uncommon openwork bridge design with beautifully executed hand stamping throughout.

The bracelet is decorated with traditional Southwestern motifs, including Whirling Log symbols, crossed arrows, stylized thunderbirds, stepped geometric elements, and feather or wing designs that continue around the cuff.

The architectural openwork construction gives the bracelet exceptional visual presence and sets it apart from the more commonly encountered stamped cuffs.

The Whirling Log is a historic Navajo symbol associated with harmony, healing, and good fortune. Its use predates the twentieth century by centuries and should not be confused with later unrelated political imagery.

Crafted in unmarked, sterling silver, typical for this type of item and era. Guaranteed sterling silver.
