Antique Parker Brothers ROOK Card Game – Complete Set – Early 20th Century (c.1910–1930)

A lovely original vintage ROOK card game by Parker Brothers, complete with original box, full deck, and instruction material.

This is a genuine early 20th century example, identifiable by the “Parker Brothers Inc., Salem, Mass.” print and classic red box design, dating it to approximately 1910–1930.

• Complete deck of ROOK cards (all present)

• Original Rook bird card

• Original box (red Parker Brothers)

• Instruction booklet / inserts (as shown)

Condition: Box shows age-related wear, scuffs and edge damage (see photos). Cards are in really good vintage condition with minor  wear. Instructions and inserts present, with some ageing

Quick How to Play ROOK:
Rook is a traditional trick-taking game (similar to Whist/Spades) using coloured suits instead of hearts/spades.

• Players bid on how many points they think they can win

• Highest bidder chooses the trump colour

• Players take turns playing cards, following colour if possible

• Highest card (or trump) wins each trick

• Points come from certain cards (5s, 10s, 14s, and the Rook card)
