Vintage late 1980s heavy cotton canvas workwear jacket by Generra. Features a large, detailed woven interior back tapestry tag officially dated 1987-1988, paying tribute to vintage Italian aviation ("Date Ali All'Italia"). Short, wide boxy silhouette heavily inspired by retro flight gear but constructed with rugged heritage workwear specs.

Heavyweight washed cotton duck canvas in faded charcoal gray/taupe hue. Develops a beautiful natural vintage patina.

Contrast sage green fine-wale corduroy collar with convertible throat latch construction for wind protection.

Internal heavy-duty LCB metal main zipper under a snap-button storm flap.

Placket snap buttons are internally secured by a heavy-woven grosgrain ribbed tape runner to prevent fabric tearing.

Fully lined with a smooth, wind-resistant technical nylon/canvas fabric for effortless layering.

Two zippered hand pockets with sturdy metal tracks; one interior left chest pocket with a copper/brass snap closure.

Adjustable Velcro exterior cuffs with hidden interior ribbed knitted storm cuffs to lock out the cold. Thick ribbed knit waistband.

No size tag remaining (remnants of original stitching visible under the collar loop). Fits like a relaxed modern Men's Large or a slightly cropped Men's XL.

Condition:
The very bottom snap button on the exterior storm flap is missing (see close-up photo).
Scattered light, small vintage spots, micro marks, and minor surface fading present on the canvas (clearly documented in macro photos). They blend naturally into the washed workwear patina.
Light natural wear/fraying along the very edges of the exterior canvas cuffs.

Overall a structurally solid, cleanly preserved piece of 80s utilitarian menswear.
