Vintage four-panel hardwood folding table screen with hand-cut mother-of-pearl inlay depicting traditional Chinese figures in garden landscapes.

Each panel features a different scene with finely carved pierced tops and bases, giving the piece plenty of decorative detail while remaining compact enough for display on a shelf, mantelpiece or cabinet.

A decorative piece that works well with Chinoiserie, Hollywood Regency, traditional or eclectic interiors.

Condition

Good vintage condition with age-related wear to the wood and finish. Some minor rubbing and marks consistent with use. One panel has a small circular mother-of-pearl inlay detail missing near the top (shown in photographs). Hinges are secure and the screen folds and stands as it should.
