Fire engines can basically be divided into general emergency vehicles and specialized vehicles. General types include tank fire engines and pump vehicles, while specialized vehicles include turntable ladders, aerial rescue platforms or hose reels. It is precisely this functional diversity that the set takes up very convincingly with a classic fire engine and a special vehicle.

The AC-40-137A, manufactured at the Pryluky Fire Engineering Plant, is an example of a typical tank fire engine. It transports firefighters, equipment, water and extinguishing agents and can fight fires from the built-in tank as well as from open water intake points or the pipe network. The pump delivers up to 40 liters of water per second and the tank holds 2,500 liters.

The AR-2, on the other hand, is a specialized hose trolley for the quick and mechanized laying of hose lines to the deployment site. It is based on an off-road KamAZ chassis and has an all-metal body with side and rear doors. There are separate areas in the structure for firefighting equipment and hoses, supplemented by adjustable brackets for storage sections of different sizes. This set combines two modern fire engines with clearly different operational profiles in a particularly harmonious composition.
