Offered for sale is this vintage Bakelite bar brooch. It is a amber color with rust marbling. It measures 1 5/8" x 7/8" and  weighs 8 grams. This domed shaped bar brooch has been given a bias cut and decorated with semi circular carvings.

The brooch has its original "C" type clasp that works like new and stays closed when the brooch is being worn. 

No chips or cracks were seen and the brooch tests positive for Bakelite using Simichrome polish. (See photo #7)
