This is a Yemeni devotional case for prayers or sura of the Qur'an dating to around the mid 20th Century. It is copper and silver alloy with paste glass "Rubies". The box itself has a hollow interior for a short passage from the Qur'an. It is currently sealed and I have not tried to open it. The total drop in cm including the bells is 12cm and the width 8cm.
