Vintage lot of negatives 3 rolls and five flat 9 x 14cm.

I have shown some with back light so you have a good idea of what's there.

Original black-and-white photographic negatives, most likely taken by a Royal Navy serviceman during the 1950s or early 1960s. The subjects include naval aircraft, warships, sailors ashore, harbour scenes, bridges, fountains and European tourist locations. They are housed in their original Kodak Bromide photographic paper box with the original tissue wrappers still present, adding to their originality. The three rolls are in wax paper.

Description

A superb collection of original vintage black and white photographic negatives, housed in their original Kodak Bromide WSG 3.D photographic paper box. The negatives appear to have been taken by an amateur photographer, very likely a Royal Navy serviceman, and include a wide variety of maritime and travel subjects.

The collection features Royal Navy sailors in uniform aboard ship and ashore, naval aircraft on deck, warships, harbour and dockyard scenes, European city views, bridges, monuments, fountains, coastal landscapes and scenic viewpoints. Many images have never been printed and would make excellent candidates for restoration or high-quality photographic prints.

The 5 negatives remain individually wrapped in their original protective tissue paper, with the original Kodak box included.

Condition

Good vintage condition. The Kodak storage box shows age-related wear, marks and discolouration consistent with long-term storage. Most negatives remain in their original tissue wrappers, which are fragile and browned with age. The negatives themselves appear well preserved, Sold as found, exactly as shown in the photographs.
